Rice Krispie treats Recipe

INGREDIENTS                            AMOUNT

Marshmallows (large)                        10 oz

Butter                                                2 tablespoons

Rice Krispies                                     6 cups

METHOD-
1) Scale the marshmallows, best to use the large marshmallows and not the small ones that are too dry.

 2) Place in a clean microwave safe large bowl.

 3) Weigh out the butter and place on top of the marshmallows in the bowl.

 4) Microwave on high for 1 and a half minutes to 2 minutes depending on microwave, so that the marshmallows are soft and fluffy.

 5) Add the rice krispies 1 cup at a time and mix well with a rubber spatula.

 6) When fully mixed scrape out the krispie mix onto plastic wrap and cover completely allowing to cool.

 7) Once cool you are ready to use the krispies to make your sugar craft creation.

Frilly Pink Peony made out of gumpaste

I think this is my favourite gumpaste flower so far. It is full and vibrant and can really bring a cake to life. Just a perfect way to top a Wedding cake or small Birthday and Anniversary cake. Adorable!

Pink gumpaste peony

I love making these delicate gumpaste flowers. Sometimes a cake just needs one of these over sized flowers to really make a statement. Simply beautiful and elegant.

Gumpaste Pink Peony

I am making some new large gumpaste flowers that will be available to purchase on my new upcoming Etsy store.

Finished Minions

I had six adorable kids in this class. They each made their own minion out of rice krispie treats. As you can see every one made their own unique masterpiece. We all had a blast.
