Wedding cake filled with gumpaste flowers
This Wedding cake was a 5 tier cake with Vanilla and chocolate cake. I made all the flowers out of gumpaste and added pastel Pink, Yellow and Green to contrast against the white fodant and white royal icing piping. The individual cakes were covered in fondant and then hand painted on top with the Bride and Grooms initials, in edible Gold. Each wedding guest had a wedding cake favor to take home.
The Wedding was held last Sunday 21st December at the beautiful Deering Estate which looked absolutely magical as night fell upon the festivities.
Gingerbread house
I thought this year I would make a gingerbread house with a slight difference and make it into a homely looking bakery with two marzipan chefs outside. I still used lots of candy to give it a colorful effect.
